    Can someone tell me what the zip algorithm is? Zlib, BZip, BZip2, GZip, Zip? What exactly is it? And whats the header format? I read the C code and can't figure it out, yuou see the problem is I'm not that good with C programming.

    its called build_save in main.c , and its pretty clear.
    and i already told you before in the other thread, its bzip2

    "illegal" meaning don't publish saves from it, private is fine.
    its fun to make, i have one too. currently there are 40+ thousand colors, not sure exactly.
