I think one way wall is nice idea!

maybe it could be applied like line rider, line drawn from L to R will block on the top, yet pass thing from underneath, likewise; drawn up to down block things coming from the right and allow things from the left

think it would be easier to use line tool to determine direction. also would allow for more variety in being able to open different routes etc.
