Possible new record laser (9700 degrees)?

Firstly, I'd like to say that I am fully aware that I am replying to a necro of a three year old thread. But I am doing this as I have something relevant to say:

Rating a TPT laser purely based on its beam temperature is stupid and is a primitive way of showing the quality of its performance. Other factors have to be taken into account, depending on the laser's purpose/goal.

If the purpose is to be the "hottest", then by all means do brag about it and get a load of downvotes from people who think you're arrogant. Just keep in mind that it doesn't mean your's is the best.

(I am aware that I am posting on a thread which had activity only a week ago)

    I'm not surprised.

Also, this thread IS primitive. I mean, considering this thread was made 3 years ago, there's no doubt that heat was just one of the few available factors to determine the heat of the laser during those days. I mean, now you have multi-functioning, gravitational control, more advanced technology and even PROT!

And you say to take other factors into consideration? Nonsense. If the point of it was to make it very hot, that's pretty much a straightforward goal.
