    Hmm...Java? It can (with a small amount of extra work) be machine-compiled. Well, then again, so can just about anything else, but I brought up Java because of it's relation to C++ and Obj-C.

    Sorry! I thought you meant Obj-C when you said "ooc", especially since I had never heard of a language called ooc. So, I just Google'd it and found ooc's home page and read a little bit about it. O_O I now definitely agree with the use of ooc! Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part!
