    w/e, I've used a mac ONCE and nearly threw the damn thing out the window.

    I got to that assumption [with Darwin] from the small amount of information Apple actually gives while I was looking for cross-compile options and libraries ^^

    Still, you learn something new everyday.

    Darwin is OS X's kernel you fool, if you don't have it you don't have an operating system

    2) i have already confessed my ignorance towards mac and its systems and have already been corrected.
    3) assuming your a mac user in the know, could you make a setup and compile guide on the wiki?

    Not a Mac user at all, just your friendly neighborhood UNIX expert. I know how all the low-level stuff works but as far as the things the user sees I'm pretty clueless with OS X.
