my pac-man lua script uses the same concept

can you please explain how to make it work?

Download the save, first. Open the save.
Make sure you have the .lua file in the powder toy file.
Ensure you type exactly what the instructions say to type.
When I did it, I used notepad, by copying the code into notepad, and saving it as a .lua file.
Also make sure you are using the current version.
