Why not make every single type of wood? Why not make apple cider? Why not make 50 different types of fabric? Because it's pointless, and a waste of time.

Because The Powder Toy has:
1) A very limited amount of elements (255, because of the element maps being 2d byte(0-255) arrays)
2) An old engine that gets really slow with loads of elements.
3) A dev crew who doesn't want to re-code every element just 'cause a single person wants it.
So consider this, next time you suggest: the devs have a life too, they don't get any funding from TPT.
And nope, they don't. Any money from the ads goes straight into the server. How else will it be kept up?
