The latest version doesn't work for me. If I select any element, it has a fatal memory read/write error. I am using Ubuntu Linux 20.04. What should I do, besides revert to a previous release?

This mod when you try to update tptmp crashes.
Will bowsernator update his mod to latest tptmp?

The Online tab is not supported in TPT-Ultimata anymore. I gave @Lord_Bowserinator plenty of warning about an upcoming change, but he can't maintain the mod right now so there won't be any update to fix it.
You can use vanilla TPT to download scripts, then open TPT-Ultimata and the scripts should appear.Edited once by LBPHacker. Last: 10th Dec 2022 -

help i fricked up the mods and now i can't use tptmp on it now

This mod doesn't support tptmp anymore, either. So two of its selling points, script manager and tptmp, are broken.
There is no fix, if you want to use multiplayer, I recommend you use vanilla TPT, rather than a mod.
To install tptmp in vanilla TPT, follow these instructions
