Yayz! A new player!

"After we were only slightly lost in the confusing spaghetti of streets that can only be compared to the London subway system in terms of dead ends, we finally get routed towards our prong by a friendly drone flying around. We meet with the rest of the advance units and they ask what we were doing with all the explosions and gunfire coming from the place they thought we landed. I explain to them how I was fencing with the royal guard, Kiliari firing missiles towards advancing soldiers and all that jazz we were doing.

That explains all the blood on your suits. said one of the soldier, pointing on the red spatter of blood on my fire-proof coat.

Kiliari was busy scouting the area while I was once again into the command tent preparing the attack on the Town Hall. The prong split into 2 groups, one commanded by me, one by Kiliari. The center prong attacked the Hall from the front, group 1 of the left prong attacked from the side, group 2 swirved around and inflitrated the Hall from the back to surprise the defenders.

Since I had the greatest stealth abilities, I took group 2 and Kiliari group 1. Just before we left, one of the commanders took me and said that they took some prisoners. Once I entered the tent they were kept in, one of the guards hands me a gun and tells me to execute the captured enemies. One of them took out some pictures of kids and a woman with him with them and with whatever English words he knew he said:

P-Please, I-I... Don't kill me, please. I have a wife! I... I have kids!

After that guy showed me the pictures, I felt something go through me. I try to squeeze the trigger to end it already, but my hand was stiff. All those guys I killed, all those had a wife, a kid and mother or father waiting for them, somewhere and I just killed them without any remorse or hesitation. I had to try to correct those mistakes. I realized that this war made me feel nearly no remorse from killing anybody and I had to stop my transformation into a ruthless killer.

I soon realized that if I executed the prisoners I'd only the making the crisis even worse, so I had to leave them be. I order the guards to hold fire and I cut the chains holding the Harridans still, allowing them to escape. They run off into the surrounding buildings and melt into the darkness, until I can no longer see them.

I know that I will continue killing, since that's what a soldier does, but leaving the prisoners be is one step in the right direction."

You'll get used to losing all your work from computer/internet issues eventually. If you knew how many times it happened to me you'd be surprised I didn't die from a rage-induced stroke by now.
