    Well the way I see it gasid (hee hee) is too hard and impractical to use. Sinking would add a control factor.

    I'm all for this idea. I definitely can see it used for weapons. IMO, it should burn/dissolve organic matter like plant and wood and corrode metals like iron, metal, and p-silicon. Or, maybe it could select which elements to destroy based on whatever it touches first. You could put it in a wood tank and it destroys the tank, then surround it with a metal tank and it's trapped.
