Indeed, but I can give you a hint: Use PLSM + void that drains it away.
The longer you'll make the plsm thing the hotter it gets. So, this laser of mine goes up to 9720 degrees, that's 5.85 degrees away from max temp.

Edit: I got it to the max temp of 9725.85 now :D

It has those mirrors because otherwise it'd shoot straight off the sim..

My laser real max temp -

You know by using the console, you can make a laser hotter than 9000.00C. Use "!set temp plsm 9e37" and when you unpause, it will decrease in temp, but it wont happen instantly.
