If I wanted to write the name of the longest molecule here... I couldn't, because the forum just can't take 189,819 letters. And none of the words composing the word are repeated...

Addendum to your second point, the amount of energy delivered to your retina from a super nova observed a distance of 1 AU (earth to sun) would be 9 orders of magnitude larger than detonating a hydrogen bomb pressed against your eyeball,

    I love xkcd.

I believe that posting more than 1 fact in a post is total bullsh*t.

Franz Ferdinand was assasinated because his car's driver took a wrong turn, right in front of the place where Princip was eating a sandwich.

Finnish fortified districts were using sloped cement, which made bullets ricochet and bounce off them, and so russians thought they are made of rubber.

There were actually a lot more people waiting to assasinate Franz Ferdinand in 1914, Gavrielo vas just the leader. Here's how it went: 2 of the guys were too afraid to do it with all the security, 1 had pity on Franz' wife, Sophie and didn't pull the trigger, 1 had his gun jammed, but 1 was capable of throwing a bomb at Franz' car, but the duke dodged it. The guy tried to run away and make a badass escape by jumping off a bridge and swiming away in style, not knowing that the water beneath the bridge he just jumped off was only a few centimeters deep. But he had another plan, a bunch of cyanide pills. He took them, hoping to die, but he didn't notice that they were expired, so he just ended up vomiting uncontrolably, giving the Austrian police a sitting duck to capture. Princip was supervising everything, and depressed that his plans were foiled, he went to a pub to eat a snack and have a beer. Meanwhile, the duke chose to no longer follow the route set up through Sarajevo and instead visit a hospital were the people wounded by the bomb were. On his way to the hospital, his driver makes a wrong turn, going right in front of the pub were Princip was having his sandwich...

    Lagnadium41:

Facebook has around 30,000 servers which must store more than a couple petawatts of data.

There are fake entries called paper towns or phantom settlements or trap streets that are added into maps by map-makers, to check if some other map-maker wasn't stealing their map data.

    Some are listed below:
    Agloe, NY
    Goblu, OH
    Beatosu, OH

It depends what map you're looking at.

The lonliest creature on Earth is whale who's been calling for a mate for over 20 years, but his voice so high-pitched the whales don't recoginze and thus never respond.
