o.k. so there's no such thing as an unearthly silence in the halstead (computer room named after an old headmaster for those that don't know) but there was between us... (don't think you were there) -

Pressure isn't calculated when the game is paused, and is only programmed to cap to 255 when it calculates pressures. As a result, pressure can exceed those values if they go over within the space of a single frame.
It's been like that for a long time. o_o -

pause the game and you can make pressure higher than 999999, but if you unpause it goes back to 256. -
Using console you can do so many unearthly things to cause pressure malfunctions but its nothing so special... It can be fun to see what it does but it only causes lag, and no matter how high u get pressure or temp I cant get an unearthly silence.
There are also many ways to use pressure to your own advantage. search my name and find that I displaced diamonds

@catelite well I boggled @PizzaPlatypus when my bomb reached 3000 etc. when the game was running, I am entirely aware of the 256 pressure parameters myself thank you very much -.-, @girr BUMPING
