@shroom207(View Post) You can't really translate specs of these computers... and if you can, It would be a lot more. A quantum computer manipulates the individual atoms to store information. If you think about it, in a mini computer of the mass of... say 64 g - 100 g, there are 6.022x10^23 atoms that can be manipulated for information. quantum computer research started in the 70's also normal computers by that time will have a similar scale of electronics, the difference: quantum computers have a faster, easier way of accessing information.
The thing about computers, is that in about 20 years, they will not physically be able to get better. only quantum computers will be able to meet out demands. I would imagine, one day they will be too slow and we will have to move on to something rediculous.
It's official. I just spent a couple hours scanning very old topics and listening to my entire music collection. Wake me up When September Ends people.
Hmm... I found out, quite a while ago that many of us new of the powder toy before simon did. I also found out that Simon had only known of the powder toy for a few weeks/ couple months before he took over... I think, or was that a dream... no I think it happened. either way, he has done a good job.
