A Beta for 99.0 has been released!

    Changelog:
    • Add an option to render the simulation on a separate thread. This may increase framerate when fancy effects are in use
    • Add day/week/month/year selector in the search
    • Add documentation on new advanced search (press F1 in save browser)
    • Add credits UI (accessible from options menu)
    • RSST/RSSS now sets its .tmp from the .ctype of nearby BCLN/PBCN
    • Improve heat convection in ambient heat
    • STOR can absorb radiation particles
    • Make paste previews follow the current renderer settings
    • Clicking "Submit" comment with an empty textbox reloads comments
    • Implement Lua tools (tools. api)
    • Reset GEL's tmp field when it turns into RSST
    • Fix chance of NEUT spawning PHOT in GLAS and of PHOT multiplying in GLOW
    • Reaction bounds fixing for EMP and VIBR
    • CRMC low pressure - preserve .temp when breaking
    • Fix unnatural stacking near powers of 2 positions
    • Fix stamp browser refusing to show stamps sometimes
    • Fix result of "Large Screen" dialog on first launch being ignored, causing scale to reset back to 1 on the second launch
    • Fix crash when drag-and-dropping drives from My Computer into TPT
    • Fix crash involving invalid SOAP properties
    • Fix crash when navigating away from a save while voting on it

(A full changelog is in the first post)

You can download it from the homepage, or you can enroll in beta updates and then restart TPT.
If you're playing on Steam, you can go to Properties -> Betas and opt in to the 99.0-beta branch.
If you're on Android, you should probably just wait. But I did upload a beta .apk here. (This apk is a separate app that doesn't share any saves or data with the normal game).

If everything goes well, the plan is to release this next week.

Saves made in this version cannot be published until 99.0 officially releases. If you're planning on uploading something, be sure to keep using the release version.

wow, this has so many useful features. why did you hold many of them in even though these can be programmed in a few minutes, did you just not think of it? also, i have a question, does it support windows 7?

I'm experiencing an issue where gravity wall that is drawn while paused (including loading stamps, but not saves that begin paused) only blocks Newtonian gravity every other frame. Clicking anywhere with the gravity wall tool while unpaused seems to fix all affected gravity wall regions.

Some of the sim fixes took a few minutes, but actually a lot of work went into some of these! The separate rendering thread was pretty big. Lots of other refactors too, and we even had a Steam release since the last version.

I think TPT supports Windows 7, but if you want to use it for some reason, make sure it's the latest service pack.
