could you change the metal's programming style to one similar of a powder? (giving it the ability to follow gravity) wouldnt that make moveable solids? (sorry if this is a rubbish suggestion, i am crappy new to programming
@asdf123(View Post) That wouldn't worrk as It would just fall independent of other particles not stopping when they do so making it like a normal powder. If that was to work it would have to (before it moves) make sure every other particle can move in the same direction which if you have more than a few particles the amount of checks it has to do would probably get quite large thus probably causing large amounts of lag. I don't know C which is what TPT is coded in so I don't know how possible what I just said would be,It would probably be impossible anyway. also there would have to be something that averages the velocity so they go in the same direction.
@plead-for-destruction It might not be as hard to do when stress gets put into a TPT release. If there was a way to make pixels of the same element stick to each other(that might not be too hard), that would also be a step in the right direction. @Simon & other developers Love Titanium, I am now considering using it to make my fusion reactor(almost) fully destructible.
@therocketeer(View Post) Hello :D how'd I know it would be you who would say hi XD As I've not been around can someone explain the whole "stress" concept to me? Sounds interesting.
