2012 was GREAT :D

The truth is, a cycle is ending, but a cycle is beginning as normal... Its just the last cycle, and who says it will end. (it happens to be a spiritual cycle)

The only thing we can be sure of, is the large solar storm approaching. you can imagine what happens when a large storm of plasma bombards the earth of which has a failing magnetic field. the last time it happened was in the 19th century, a city after the event had no telegraph poles left, with half the city on fire.
there is also a warning about a comet coming... it may not effect us. i won't go into planet X/Nibru. And it isn't just a planetary alignment... it is an alignment of our sun and the galaxy.

Of course... It would take something like a planet larger than us to completely destroy earth... like planet X, which may or may not exist.

I don't see the destruction of earth any time soon, but that doesn't mean things will be easy for humans.

What ever the case... People who believe in global warming says our worlds is going to end soon if we don't do something about cars. Full stop.

Indeed. If Antartica's ice were to melt, the sea level would rise 65 meters.
We all know something is going to happen, we just don't know what. We just need to pretend like it won't, except for global warming, because that is something that WE need to fix.

I hate it when people call them shooting stars. Also, scientists are now starting to think that we don't have much to do with global warming. They think that the earth goes through a temperature cycle every few thousand years that we can do nothing about.

There is truth to what you say. Global warming will happen with or without us, but we are speeding it up, very fast. but watch a few documentaries and you will see the ice age cycle and the amount carbon dioxide. in this cycle, before it is even complete, the carbon dioxide levels are several times higher than previously seen.
