    If you install fabric and the "sodium" mod, it will likely improve your fps. This mod works better than optifine at optimizing the game.

     Sometimes it is better than OptiFine, but I have yet to experience that myself. On my computers, OptiFine is still better, but whether it is or not will vary between computers. So I advise testing both and using whichever gives you the better experience.

    Edit: I will also mention that 1.18.1 is out. Please update, this release actually contains an urgent security fix for a bug in all previous versions of minecraft. The servers are already patched, although remain on 1.18 for now.

    Not yet, but we plan to fight the ender dragon tonight. After that, the portal will be open and I'll make a quick access location for it.
