Kydonian research officials begin to notice that a lot more of their experiments into... monkey human hybrids? are failing than normal. A very thorough investigation is begun on this by the Kydonian Inquisition. KI begins rounding up everyone in the project area, and administers truth serum to them. Everyone seems to check out, until one man is found to have no previous records on Kydonia. He attempts to bite into a cyanide capsule, but the Inquisitors stun him, and remove the capsule from his mouth. The man's spinal cord has been... modified... to allow the brain to only control the mouth, lungs, heart and other key organs required for life, but nothing else. The man is now paralyzed from the neck down, but the condition can be easily reversed by Kydonian medical staff. Kydonia sends a message to every nation: "We will not tolerate espionage of any kind in Kydonia. Let this man be an example of the brutality that will be swiftly given to anyone acting in harm of Kydonia." The KI begins to interrogate the man.
