Yeah some moron's on facebook were saying that the government did it... why the hell would the government fly a plane into their own building, the pentagon? And everyone says here was explosives,which is the dumbest thing I have ever had the misfortune of walking across. Jet fuel is very flammable, and super heats metal infrastructures very quickly, causing a pancake effect implosion after it was all dispersed and ignited. Explosives would have left mote individualized explosions around the building. Plus it happened in the morning, when the jets were full of fuel... 2+2 yet?

Civilians don't know what a gun shot sounds like let alone what a plane hitting a tower sounds like. I have talked to people who have said their house has been hit by a drunk driver and the impact "sounded like a loud bomb" others have had kitchen fires and still they claim it to be as loud "as a bomb". Scraping metal on metal and jet fuel instantly igniting sounds both like "gun shots" and "woah a bomb just went off". Plus due to normal human psychology in a time of grief, the human mind will play tricks on you. Unless you have ever seen a plane impacting a building directly above you, you wouldn't know what to say it sounded like. Obviously you would try to rationalize it by saying it sounded like two of the loudest things in existence that may be considered "common", gun shots and the old "a bomb went off". -
