    Genius.

    I've been thinking...
if you successfully build a processor in the powder toy, could you be liable for patent infringement by a mayor processor manufacturer?

This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. You deserve an e-cookie. Some commands I wish there were include AND, OR, XOR, and NOT, but I doubt it'll happen, since all the slots are full.

Nah, I doubt it, as long as the processor is entirely his own design. Which it probably is.

Yeah it is. (Bar the subtract chip)

Also AND/XOR/OR/NOT have been planed for PT-Processor II Just got to figure out a way of building really small circuits for it.

so, when do you release processor II?

    I have some ideas:

-Faster clock rate, with timer in-processor, to allow "software" to change speed.
    -More instructions and inputs.
-Make RAM to be useful, as I see you write, but it is useless. If you do that, a move instruction would be required(optional, lol).
-Some kind of programmable output(maybe with the dot matrix for space), that is controlled via instructions, and allows to display, manage something, etc.(with 12-16 wires)

also, I just made a battery element that hopefully Simon will merge with the official code, so you can make some parts smaller

I made a smaller flop gate and a smaller not gate just testing it out.

Going at current speed probably around two weeks from now. I guess?

As for the clock rate. It's probably only going to get slower as the complexity increases as for making it software controlled I'll look into it.

I agree RAM isn't that useful in it's current state. Though it's probably going to be far more useful when there are more commands and such.
