Have you gone into the autorun.lua GUI and see if it was on? Are you sure it's a .lua file? Are you sure it's not just a .txt file named "Synergy.lua"?

yes, i'm sure it's not just a txt file called "synergy.lua" i have file explorer set to show file name extensions. and yes, i have gone into the autorun.lua GUI and it is listed. if i turn it on from there, i get a different error: attempt to call 'input' (a nil value)
Perhaps have you tried deleting all the text and repasting it?
i found the problem: i was using the incorrect filename. now it seems the script's outdated. and how to fix an outdated script? get an equally outdated version of the powder toy! (im about to try it)
update:
i found a good version: 97.0
