I forgot to check if there's updates- that would explain it. (I thought I had replied earlier but I guess I didn't)

So is this script open a server where anyone in this world can join ? or just people in the same network can join ?

If it is just allow people in the same network join the server can we use LogMeIn Hamachi ?

There is already a default server it will connect to, you don't need to make your own or use hamachi. Just download it and type /connect

Update: TPTMP .72 out, update using the script manager. It has scrolling through chat history with up/down (from ryanmjacobs), and also some other fixes I put in the mod version but never into the real script.

Does this only work with Jacob1's mod? It only seems to work (connect) if I load Jacob1's mod rather than normal TPT with the script manager.

Go into the script manager and update the script. The server was moved a few weeks/months ago so you need to update to .71+.

Or just redownload https://app.box.com/s/dmmwaevz9q975py85byo . It works in normal TPT too (probably better even)

When i try to connect by using /connect, all it gives me is "your version mismatched (requires 89.2)".

BTW, i'm also using a mac.

That's probably the problem... You don't have a version of TPT that's recent enough to run it.

There's no recent release for mac because there were issues with SDL.

If you post your mac os x version, we could help you a little better.

Hmm... Multiplayer? Sounds like something I should test out. Who knows whats happening in a TPT server. :]?

TPTMP doesn't work on the new version because of a version mismatch (it still expects version 89.2). Also TPTMP is moving to a new server. So for now, if you want to connect, do these things:

type this in the console:
tpt.version.major = 89

Then type this in the TPT window:
/connect starcatcher.us
