    it says http download timed out. What do I do? :(

    it wont let me connect to a normal server, it always connects me to a guest server :(

    so, I'm using tptmp.. and it's saying "MOTD: Welcome to TPTMPv2! You have landed in the guest lobby as you do not seem to be logged in." even though I am logged in, is it just that my account is too new? or is it a different issue.

    Yes, your account is too new. After 24 hours you'll be able to use it on tptmp.

    You were banned on your old account in May of last year. I unbanned you now, as long as you behave you should be fine. The ban clearly wasn't effective anyway since your IP is dynamic.
