I'd be happy to introduce some of the properties of ALUM and ALMP, the new elements I helped contribute to the mod.
ALUM's standout property how it interacts with pressure. The Powder Toy has breakable elements and pressure-blocking elements, but not both at once! ALUM blocks pressure like TTAN, but if the pressure gradient becomes too powerful, it bursts open. You can also alloy it with molten METL to increase its strength.
This makes it a unique building material, and also very fun.
It also has a few chemical reactions.
For example, when combined with MERC, an interesting reaction occurs where it creates a "tower" of aluminium oxide.
(The demonstration here is artificially sped up, since the reaction is fairly slow with small amounts of MERC.)
Additionally, you can expose it to OXYG to cause it to create a protective layer of oxide that protects it from reacting with ACID and MERC.
Finally, ALUM turns into ALMP when broken. Because aluminium powder burns brightly and is often used in pyrotechnics, I thought it would only be fair to recreate it:
Awesome, how about ALMP + BRMTL -> THRM (IOW aluminium powder mixed with iron oxide makes thermite)?
It does have that reaction, sorry for not mentioning it! It behaves the exact same way as BREL+BRMT=THRM (meaning it requires heat)
thanks for the good news.
The problem is that my scripts aren't cooperating with element ID rules correctly and are using IDs that aren't theirs, like 29, 12, etc.
Having an issue where the mod/exe is now marked as a virus and my pc keeps deleting it.... Keeps saying it is a bearfoos Trojan
Windows BitDefender needs to get their shiz together
It's not an issue with the mod then. You can add a check for vanilla and modded tpt and change the ids accordingly. Iscrackmod variable can be used to detect my mod.
It's really annoying, yeah. Did you update the mod using the inbuilt updater or manually replaced the exe? It works fine when it updates on its own. Make sure you add the file/ folder to list of exceptions so that you don't need to do it every single time when an update drops.
i cant update to 57.5 it keeps saying error while renaming files
