A small issue I found: Ctrl+Z on Windows used to simply revert the save to its initial state pre 92.0, if there were no particles added or removed since loading it. Now it seems to revert to the previous loaded save instead of the current one.
Reliably happens 100% of the time on a desktop Windows 7, 64 bit machine.
This update made all my elements become black, and a few of the affected elements have RGB values that aren't close to 0 or 255, maybe alpha was also affected?
Not sure of what you want screenshots, the screenshots dont show Hud nor element bar
"Why don't you just use the reload button?"
I can, and it is not difficult. I just somehow "evolved" the Ctrl-Z method over time, and now its behaviour changed. I assumed this to be a small bug, which broke my "workflow" a bit.
You should or should not consider changing that depending on how many people it affected, I guess. I am not sure how to find that out, though. I may do a temporary poll save for it or something.
By the way, now, that multiple undos are supported, it could be a nice feature to save the current state on unpause to be undoable. I've had several times where I accidentally hit space for whatever reason and it broke things. This would also account for most cases of what I complained about.
Yes, I was actually referencing that comic when I said that it broke my workflow. :-) Well, now that you say it, it indeed sounds unlikely. I should change my habits, then.
As for the unpausing/undoing issues. I am probably horribly abusing something here again, but I often need to set precise temperatures on delay particles or other electronics. It can be pretty hard to hit the exact temperature without the property tool, and it's pretty annoying to use the property tool with different settings for every pixel. And when I hit upause and something breaks, I need to revert the work I did with the heat/cool tools. So, basically yes, the issue is that whatever you've drawn in the last step is missing.
It is not too big a deal too, but a thing that, I believe, should not take much effort to change but save some frustration while playing. But then, again, I may be alone on this.
On another note, shall we move this discussion to a more appropriate thread? This one explicitly asks not to post suggestions, but I broke that a bit. And now we have multiple posts on it.
