Out of curiosety, how many of you support gun control. I know what a lot of adults are saying but I would like to get some kids perspective. Call it a research project. When you comment, please give your answer(yes, no, I'm not sure ect.) then a brief, yet clear explanation of your answer; also add your age. I will be on to respond. Thanks!

Gun control: making it harder to obtain firearms(proceses, and cost). Or to make firearms illeagal all together.

Guns are illigal in SouthAfrica and i must say it's one of the worse things the gov have done.now only the criminals have guns and they get them pretty easily (from the police of course since they are also criminals)

You mean you can't get a gun to protect yourself from all the gangsters in New York that, them, OBVIOUSLY have all kinds of guns from pistols to bazookas? Not sure I support that...
I know the chances to get in trouble with that kind of peoples is very slim, but you should still have the choice......

oooo... well here in Argentina there´s no gun control.. but there are regulations obviously.. and I think it´s not a good idea to make the civilians be defenceless so gun conrol is not very good..

@MasterMind555: agreed. right now guns are not illegal in the USA, but there are many restrictions( there are some who want to illegalize guns now)

Here's my opinion, weapons LICENSES, shouldn't be easy to attain, though not impossible, just heavily screening enough to rid out those of low IQs, dangerous people, etc. but will still allow the average level headed person to get one.

Here's some fact:
Illegalizing guns will not reduce gun crimes or ease of access to them for criminals. I personally live in Canada and I know for a fact that in Toronto gangs are buying guns that are smuggled in on highways from the US in transport trucks. What illegalizing guns does is takes them out of the hands of good citizens, removing their ability to defend themselves(as well as enjoy guns). You can't take the guns from the bad guys, only the good guys.

I do NOT support gun control. I don't know about you guys, but I'm from USA, and its in our Constitution. 2nd Ammendment: The right to bear arms. If someone's robbing your house, The police take too long to get there. That's why we need guns. Defense.
