Insted of banning the user forever how about 34 hours of ban time and deleting the save he/she made and send a message saying [Self Voting is illegal on the game and site.]

You must not be very well oriented with how the moderators run this game. Perhaps figuring out the whole story before just posting stuff that is obsolete in the presence of proper knowledge?

For the sake of keeping this short, each user typically has three offences, sometimes more based on certain factors. First offences are usually short, 2 day bans. Second offences may be longer. 3rd offences may be a lot longer. As with me, I had someone get on my account and post a rude tag. I was banned for 24 hours.

Really no one should ever be banned if they don't break the rules. Its really pretty simple.

Although, perma bans occur when someone cause multiple infractions and is no longer deemed trustworthy of playing. Just yesterday at least 8 people were banned for posting rude things. Not a single one deserved a permanent ban, but if they ever make the same mistake twice it may come to such a result.

TL:DR Stay in school and don't do drugs kids.

Ban length corresponds to the seriousness of the offence. In the past, bans issued for multiple account voting have ranged from 48 hours to permanent for a first offence, depending on how many saves it affected and how many accounts were used. It's usually a permanent ban after the second offence.

It should be obvious even to someone that hasn't read the rules that self voting is unfair, and is therefore against the rules. It's easy to avoid getting banned for it - just don't do it.

Stewie was having too much fun quoting all the bans on IRC.

@Ryan99: You don't need to know. It doesn't concern you. Read the rules, talking about someone getting banned can get you banned yourself.
