Salt is a reasonably light powder that will stay on top of most other powders, excluding CLST, SAWD, and CNCT.

Creation

Boiling four saltwater particles produces one salt particle and three water particles on average:

Gel and sponge absorb water from saltwater, and produce one salt particle per four saltwater particles on average:

Reactions

Produces saltwater with water and distilled water:

WATR.png + SALT.png → 5×SLTW.png

DSTW.png + SALT.png → 5×SLTW.png

Slowly dissolves in saltwater:

SLTW.png + SALT.png → 2×SLTW.png

Melts ice and snow:

ICE.png + SALT.png → 2×SLTW.png

SNOW.png + SALT.png → 2×SLTW.png

Rusts iron into breakable metal:

Molten salt (i.e. LAVA with ctype SALT) on contact with glass tempers it by increasing its life value by 1, up to a maximum of 28080.
