use the semipermeable walls to seprate the uran from the water. the stream dives under the URAN before it can pass into the heatstack. also realise that the act of steam going through the cooling towers isnt what actually powers the plant. the steam goes through turbines and an external water resivoir transfers the heat to water in the stack. true nuclear turbines would be underground.
