so you understand my dilema
This is what im wondering 2
Theres alot more than 1 galaxy other than our own their are millions of them clustered in galaxy clusters but i would like to no why we think the universe is infinite is it because we cant see the edge due to the red shift in the electromagnetic spectrum?
its infinite... who knows? maybe there are more galaxies than just 1 near the milky way... and come on dude. read some books. dont ask silly questions.
If it is a sphere then it has a definable edge making it not infinite.Which goes against theory 1. spoogda4 you said that the 1st theory was proven true.How.
I think the universe is a sphere. Why it should look diffrent? The edges of a cube, for example, have a longer distane to the middle of the cube as other points in it or at its surface... Our universe exploded from a point, and now, why should some matter move faster than other matter?
Just a thing: the 1st theory was proven correct. So, clearly if the universe is infinite, there is no shape to it, because of course, there's no edges. But, if the theory was proved WRONG in the future, the shape of the universe might be A) circle or B) unprovable.
