    @dom2mom No, heavy water can either be D2O (2 deuterium, 1 oxygen) or DHO (1 deuterium, 1 regular hydrogen, 1 oxygen). Ice is made up of multiple water molecules linked together.

    This is actually true. DEUT (Deutrium Oxide) is otherwise known has "heavy water" because it is 2 water molocules hooked together (or 2^H20)
