ahhh nuclear physics i dont understand nothing xD sorry for bad grammar im portuguese and, again, i dont understand nuclear physics XD
i made a deut reactor id:1248659
@astro-nomical "it's properties on tpt aren't accurate" Neither is your grammar.
ah nuclear physics i <3 it.
well, deuterium itself is fissionable into something like tritium, but well, it can't do much by itself (requires an active source of protons or neutrons)
deuterium oxide is heavy water. not fissionable, useable in Fusion reactors (as it is a "light" element) consists of a proton, a neutron and 1 electron, it is an isotope of protium (hydrogen) and it is used in nuclear reactors (fission) as a coolant and neutron moderator, so it's proprerties on tpt aren't accurate.
XD half the comments got change to weather deut is used for nuclear reactors or weather its real XD
Of course its real https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deuterium
Doesn't work properly with ambient heat on (I have yet to see a reactor that does) and needs PUMP to heat up the URAN... But it works, and is almost completely destroyable... Well, don't expect an upvote from me, neither a downvote. Enjoy your FP and good work.
