The Gadget was the first nuke ever made. It was a Implosion bomb and works as following: The detonators fire up the TNT charges which build up pressure that compresses the plut. The NEUT initiator releases neutrons which create starts the chain reaction.

    Pretty accurate. I tried making one like this, but I wanted mine to be small, so the TNT just wasn't strong enough.
