The ship design is equipped with a nuclear beam weapon, it also has a prototype FTL drive and it has two classes, one for light cargo with the shuttle and another one that carries large fuel tanks and super heavy equipment.

    The FTL drive would be more useful as a radiation cannon.

    propelling neutrons wont get you to high speeds due to their tiny mass (you asked for a comment, I'm giving my opinion :P )
