This is how I have been making shapes out of PHOTONS. There may be better ways. This one works well for me.

    here's a much easier way: draw your image in phot/prot. then set their directions on +/- x/y velocity via console. "set vx 1" or "set xy 1". you can make them go in any direction with numbers higher than 1 or less than negative 1, or even remain stationary with 0.
