your idea might have some base here. however for it to look good you should refine this a little. try useing the size tool to adjust the size of your cursor make it a little neater.use the [ ] buttons to adjust size. another problem is the size of this. this reaction can make a very nice effect, however at this size, it is difficult to see the effect because the brightness kind of covers it up. try making the same thing, only a little smaller. that might help!
