@Alfa it's a memory because it can store bits. Some people say memories must be addressable to be a RAM, but that is a feature only for high-capacity RAMs

now now, RAMs are good for printers, keypads, and even binary converters. otherwise there isnt any use. +0

I used a RAM in the first release of my printer as a data buffer between the ROM and the color selector. it was an exactly perfect use for ram. My current design does not need it but it was useful.

@the-good-side That's nice. RAMs with high capacity are perfect for high res drawing but for animations i would stick with ROMs

@akronmantpt: Originally I wanted to connect it to my 5x5 screen and even had plans for a 5x5 RGB screen but since I had to do other kinds of stuff I quickly made this 3x3. But for me it's vacation now so I have plenty of time to play tpt and make this a higher res.

I will respect you when you make a bigger version of it, it's pretty efficient but you should do higher resolution images.
