    im still going to stick with snow. its much easeir to keep it stable and my grav shields are stopping the rebound

    Molten sing shouldn't explode unless it's temperature is changed. Make sure that it's tmp (not temp) is 9999999999 so it will actually explode.

    Also, the coolant isn't very useful here, it just takes up space.

    It is much safer if you use molten sing instead on snow. Snow has a strange tendency to rebound, making it much safer to use lava. Make the casing out of a 2px thick layer of titanium, heated enough to stop the lava freezing, but cold enough for the titanium to remain solid. Then add a 1px layer of insl, then any armour you choose.
