Just some rocket engines I made. Left to right: hygn/oxyg burning, like the space shuttle main engines. Next is a coal buring-solid fuel motor, it burns for a while and puts out a huge flame. Last one is high power, high thrust with a minimum of exhuast.

The main point there being FUEL burns with the help of oxygen.

I'm sorry, you're wrong. Oxygen is an accelerant, which means it helps flamable materials burn. Oxygen by itself will not burn because there are things you need for fire: fuel, oxygen, and a source of ignition, such as a spark. Also, oxygen can be in a solid compound so it can be mixed with solid fuel it a rocket motor.
