One of Entropy Unlimited's mass extraction sites deployed over a neutron star. A Neutronium extraction rig and power supply station are setup near the star itself. Radius is 23 km. mass is 1.387 suns.

why is there a large ring around the neutron star at the star map?

The tacterians, recently discovering the korlonian galaxy, are surprised with the rediculously advanced race that is entropy, they calculate there scale on the level and, they appeared to be more advance than them - Who just jumped between galaxy clusters, They are surprised that they havnt expanded beyond the korlonian galaxy, and also ask if they can place some neutronium extraction rigs of their own here.

Hi, I was looking at this save, and decided to tinker a bit. Here are the results if you wanted to use it - I've made it more that just art - the star actually works now. id:1873792. +1 by the way!

Neutronium is another name for neutron degenerate matter.

Just wondering, what is neutronium? Is that the stuff you think neutron stars are made of? They are actually not made of "true" matter: they are completely composed of neutrons. That's why scientists say that neutron stars are made of "degenerate" matter.

This looks really cool, but it would be nice if it was more than just art

I admit extracting neutronium would be almost impossible and even if you could it would create a huge explosion as it decayed, but this is all Si-Fi stuff so science means nothing :D
