Cordiceps exists.. It's infecting the ants nerves and etc., after killing it, going somewhere, and dying alone, after growing from the ant. To infect other ants.

a sort of scary thought is that there was a primeval fungi that "zombiefied" giant ants it made them bite down on leaves and die so it could grow using the body. if it were to e rediscovered today it might be able to adapt to the human body causing what we see as zombiefication.

I dont get why a military camp needs to be exactly outside of an infected city. Zombie does this GTA style, (jumps from building near fence and passes it) BOOM LIKE A BOSS!

987tales is rght. A zombie apocalypse will only last 5 years due to an amazing bacteria that just happens to eat away dead things even if they walk! LIIIIVERR.... oh god, EAT BACTERIA YOU LIVER SUCKING BEAST OF THE UNDERWORLD! AND BULLETS ASWELL TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS!
