    a super nova is when a star implodes in on itself. the resulting heat and pressures cause the star to explode. in the case of our sun, it will actauly lose its gravitational grip on its outer layers.

    lol the sun won't do either of those things. only giant stars do that. our sun will expand and consume mercury and venus, then will shed its outer layers and becomes a white dwarf.

    The sun wont implode into a super nova, it will implode thus making a black hole and sucking in all the planets in the solar system untill it becomes a super blackhole, only then after it runs out of matter to disenigrate will it EXplode and become a super nova.

    The world will actually end,but only in billion of years...that will be when sun will run out of fuel and basically implode(supernova) destroying the entire solar system
