Long range support ship desgined to burn through ship armor. Due to its lack of rear shielding and weak armor, this ship is usualy escorted by a pair of Splinter-Class Destroyers to protect it at close range.

    This could easily be stopped by non-meltable spaced armor, or just spaced armor in general.

    alternatively, a splinter version with a firestorm cannon would be helpful

    I don't know weather or not to add those, as it would change the ships role in a way I don't like.

    may need a pair of fesp/plsm cannons like on the hypersoinc fighter. It can't penetrate insl, which is a bit of a problem.
