Does EU ally with other groups? And do they invade inhabited systems for minerals or do they leave them alone?

So, if they encounter a system that is already occupied by another species, will they start harvesting resources from there or will they just leave them alone?

Entropy isn't bad, per say. They just kill anyone who gets in the way of their quest for knowledge. That's not bad, just a little extreme. It's not like they kidnap people to experiment on them.
