A simulation of Maxwell's Demon, a thought experiment created by James Clerk Maxwell which demonstrates the ability of a hypothetical finite being (the demon) capable of violating The Second Law of Thermodynamics which has been proven today to not do so.

    Fact: Today, there are devices that use thermoelectric cooling to transfer heat from one side to the other. They have the appearance of flat sheets of metal (kind of), or in other words, they aren't air conditions. They use something called the Peltier Effect. I swear I'm not making this up - look it up, it's real.

    @blk some times entroy is used ask chaso, but op is talking about the mathematical entropy, which can never be reversed, and the demon is reversing it by breaking thermodynamics

    Wouldn't entropy be better desccribed as chaos/unpredictability/randomness?
