    odd weapon calibers. A 9mm machine gun is not all that usefull. 9mm rounds are used for low velocity weapons, like pistols and SMGs in order to inflict more damage. 7.62mm is used for machine guns because they have the muzzle velocity to achive a 1 hit kill with the smaller shell.
