  I didn't say either of them made noise before impace, just that the V-2 could not be heard.

  I don't know, but Buzzbomb refers to the V-1 flying bomb because of its characteristic engine sound. The V-2 was supersonic, so it wouldn't have made any noise before impact.

  Oh, not to nitpick, but the V-1 is the buzzbomb, not the V-2.

  In regards to aircraft, they neglected to weaponize jet technology until too late, which ended up with their total loss of air superiority.
