ok i get this al lthe time why does it do it it only lets me do these types of lines and i cant make rectangles only SQUARES perfect squares can anyone help me?

    Most likely Alt though.

    Just press Ctrl, Shift and Alt a few times. One of them is probably stuck. Check the ones on the other side of your keyboard too.
