    The STNE comes from the smashed BRCK casing around the PIPE. The BRMT is the remains of the PIPE itself. The DEUT hasn't 'turned into' anything, but there end up being less of it because (A) some of it goes off the screen, and (B) gravity compresses DEUT, increasing its life while reducing the particle count.
